I dare you!

"I've left some clues for you.  If you want them, turn the page.  If you don't, put the book back on the shelf, please."   Dash and Lily's Book of Dares, the latest whirlwind romance by Cohn and Levithan, the same authors of Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist, begins with Lily leaving a notebook with these words tucked between two J.D. Salinger books in a used book store.  A complete stranger, Dash, finds the notebook and is intrigued enough by Lily's words to leave a note back.  What follows is a week-long adventure throughout New York City.  Dash and Lily continue to exchange notes and dares, learning about each other's dreams and desires along the way.   But are they really meant for each other as the notes would suggest?  Or will it be a disaster of cosmic proportions when they finally meet? 


Enjoyable but familiar story alternately told between Lily's and Dash's viewpoints.  -KR
